When Saturday comes, how about this award-winning sandwich for an indulgent treat?

Ingredients: 

  • 50g Mona Dairy - Gouda
  • 50g cooked mushrooms, mixed, chestnut, white, dried
  • 60g smoked brisket
  • 3tbs mayonnaise
  • 1.5tbs chives
  • 1.5tbs parsley
  • 2tsp hot horseradish
  • 1 large roll
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 15g mixed leaves
  • 1 garlic clove

Method or Assembly Order:

  1. Mix the mayo with horesradish, chives and parsley
  2. Saute the mushrooms in oil with garlic and cinnamon stick
  3. Warm roll and slice
  4. Spread half of mayo mix on the bottom slice of the roll
  5. Add 25g of thinly sliced cheese
  6. Add the cooked mushrooms
  7. Add warm brisket
  8. Add 25g of thinly sliced cheese
  9. Add Mixed leaves
  10. Spread remaining mayo mix on the top slice of the roll
  11. Add the top slice of the roll
